We hope everyone had a great time during opening night of Up Close. We had an awesome turnout, and enjoyed meeting with all of you!
This is just a friendly reminder that Up Close continues through April- so if you didn’t have the chance to see the show or speak with us, there’s still time: We’re open weekdays from 1 – 5 so stop on by!
Opening reception is on Saturday, March 23rd at 4:30PM at APC Fine Arts & Graphics (For directions, click here). There will be soda, wine & refreshments, and guests will have the chance to enjoy some great artwork- and chat with the artists too. This will be an exciting show- and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone there!
That’s right, you heard us correctly- Throw pillows!
APC Gallery is pleased to announce that we are now selling throw pillows in addition to select notecards and canvas prints through art site Society6.
The pillow cover is made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and is individually cut and sewn by hand. It features a double-sided print and is finished with a concealed zipper for ease of care. It comes in 3 size options and can be purchased with or without a faux down pillow insert.
The pillows are priced between $20 and $35 depending on your selection, take a look!

The History of drawing and painting began with someone making a mark. The cave man found something to make a mark on the wall to record the season for hunting. The artist at the easel is first making a mark. It may be a drawn mark with a pencil, pen or pastel or painted with watercolor, acrylic or oil paint. The need is the same through history, the artist records his or her moment either looking at something or letting the mind search through ideas. The Marks reveal an idea for others to see and share.
